BLC was founded by Yeomee and Dukyoung Kim, two secondary education specialists over 25 years ago in Bellevue. Their mission has always been to provide high-quality, individualized lessons with knowledgeable and engaging tutors in a nurturing, challenging, and positive environment that enables every student to learn. The Kim's have shared their experience and remarkable results with hundreds of students. They measure their success in grades lifted and college dreams realized but also—and perhaps best of all—in the countless graduates who still stop by just to say thank you.
Carefully selecting and cultivating our tutors is at the heart of what we do. Bellevue Learning Center team members must have relevant teaching experience, a clear passion for working with young people, and complete subject mastery. We count on their excellent skillset as well as their love of education — because your student deserves both.
